The USS Cadecus is a brand new Galaxy class refit Medical ship. With a new crew and a mission to get done while the paint has only just dried. She is sure to find many exciting adventures in the far reaches of space.

A deadly plague has spanned the recesses of space and threatens the Planet of Erit. The Doctors and Crew are working hard to find the cure as the crew seems to be falling victim to the virus. Dr Starkiller and CSEC Mia Cummings have been assigned to perform an autopsy on the Runabout Ramapo. Meanwhile, Captain Sorveck, the CO, has issued a quarentine on the Cadecus as several of the crew have fallen ill.
The Cadecus and her crew are working to find the cure to a strange Virus that has apparently wiped out at least two civilizations in the Erit System. They have found some clues as to what this virus is and what it does, but are they are still far from a cure? Unfortunately for the Planet of Erit's Prime Minister, it will be too late, as he has succumbed to the virus. LCDR Yoshi Kehdar and Ensign Andruia Valentine have returned from their mission to investigate the other planets. Their investigation has led to more questions than answers. Commander Dreia Frej and Captain Sorveck have their hands full, both of them seeminly hitting on something that just might be the answer as to WHY. But will it bring them any closer to the cure....
